Deck The Halls: Part 1

I was able to get some outdoor decorating done this week. I think it's my favorite area to decorate. We have a plethora of evergreens, berries, grapevine and pine cones on the property.  I still have much to do, but here's a look at some of what I've decked thus far.
They're predicting rain this weekend, so I better get on it.

Winter Decorations

The holidays are over, but that doesn't mean that I take down all of our decorations. I leave some of them up, both indoors and out, to jazz up the winter landscape. I love the smell of fresh greens, so I keep fresh cut pine and spruce boughs tucked into corners around the house.

I love the winter months. It's when I get to slow down. The garden is harvested and there is zero yard work to be done. I get to concentrate on my Etsy shops and I have more time to blog and to read blogs. There's always something in the oven or on the stove top. And that's something to celebrate. Might as well have some decorations to go along with the joy.
