Haiti Relief Fundraiser

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but the TV coverage of the earthquake in Haiti tears my heart to shreds! I feel so helpless and guilty sitting here in my warm home with every comfort that one can imagine.

Wanting to do my part to help, I started searching online for places to donate. On twitter, I read that Jen over at Indie Fixx was organizing a silent auction, with proceeds going to the Red Cross International Response Fund. I quickly donated a pair of earrings, that are being auctioned today.

Back To Work

It's nice to finally be able to slow down a bit and get back in the studio. I've been busy getting ready for Valentine's Day. I know that I'm not alone because my deStash shop has been buzzing too.

Clip-Ons

Clip-ons, clip ons, clipons, clips, non-pierced. So many names for a style of earring that so few wear. But every once in a blue moon, a buyer asks for clip-ons.

I've always had a blurb in my shop policies stating that many of my earrings can be converted to clip-ons, but how many folks read the blurbs? So, I decided that one of my projects for 2010 would be to add a photo of the clip-ons that I have to offer in with my earrings listings. I'm on page 2 1/2 and editing away.

HeartLine 2010

It's that time again. Just like that. Time to bring out the heart beads and charms and make a few Valentine's Day related jewelry pieces. I tend to stay away from the usual pinks and reds and gravitate towards unusual heart colors. I have a few pairs of earrings in my Etsy shop and will be listing more in the coming weeks.
